For a century the Rigney has served as a cultural and civic touchstone and a centerpiece of life in downtown Albany, Missouri. The Albany Community Development Corporation is developing plans to restore the iconic Rigney Theater building into a multi-use facility, allowing future generations to continue to create new memories at the Rigney. 

The Albany Legacy Fund has received a challenge for a $50,000 matching grant from the Patterson Family Foundation, and we achieved that goal in just two weeks! Every dollar raised will be doubled. 

The Parman Family Foundation, in memory of Vance and Avis Parman, has issued another challenge: raise another $50,000 by Labor Day and they will match it dollar for dollar. 

These funds will be put toward the restoration of the Rigney Theater. While this will not be enough to fully restore the structure, it will be of great assistance. 

Help us raise another $50,000 and double every dollar raised! 

The challenge is active now and ends September 1. With your help, we hope to meet or exceed this goal!
